The world premiere took place at the iconic Egyptian Theatre Hollywood, where Lopez walked the red carpet alongside co-star Brett Goldstein and a number of major entertainment figures.
Jennifer Lopez commands the red carpet
The actress and singer immediately became the centre of attention in a dramatic black strapless couture gown featuring sheer detailing, sculpted embellishments and an oversized flowing train.
Styled with sleek straight hair, bronzed makeup and diamond jewellery, Lopez embraced full old-Hollywood glamour for what quickly became one of her standout red carpet appearances of the year.
Beside her, Brett Goldstein opted for a classic cream blazer paired with black tailored trousers as the pair posed together ahead of the film’s release.
A new Netflix rom-com
Office Romance, directed by Ol Parker and co-written by Brett Goldstein and Joe Kelly, sees Jennifer Lopez play Jackie Cruz, the CEO of a major airline who falls for the company’s new lawyer, played by Goldstein.
According to Netflix, the romance threatens both of their careers as they decide to “stop playing by the rules and start following their hearts.”
The film continues Lopez’s long-running connection with the romantic comedy genre that helped establish her as one of Hollywood’s most recognisable leading ladies.
A Selena reunion on the carpet
One of the evening’s most talked-about moments came when Lopez reunited with actor Edward James Olmos, nearly 30 years after they starred together in Selena.
The pair embraced on the red carpet and posed for photographers, delighting fans of the iconic 1997 biopic.
Other stars attending the premiere included Adam Sandler and his wife Jackie Sandler, along with Amy Sedaris, Jodie Whittaker, Betty Gilpin, Tony Hale and Will Sasso.
Netflix release set for June 5
The film is produced by Lopez alongside Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina through Nuyorican Films as part of the company’s ongoing partnership with Netflix.
Office Romance will officially launch on Netflix on June 5.
